Currently I am working on a final version of "Carrot Cake", the off-beat comedy video I presented on Thursday (last class). What I am specifically editing is the green screen settings to remove any unwanted artifacts, such as shadow, or green blemishes from the lighting.
In addition to editing the masks so there is no clipping mistakes.
What this filming experience has taught me:
I need to rework my lighting setup and acquire a larger green screen backdrop.
Both of these improvements will allow for a much smoother workflow come time for post production.
Moving forward:
The next addition to this original comedy series will include an overhaul of Perry's acting. His character(s) will have further development and express themselves even more differently than before. The editing and filming will take into account the past errors, to provide an overall funnier, wonkier, and bizarre experience.
My goal is to present the final version of the new video during our 10/22 critique.
